The cottage was the best equipped property we have stayed in for a long time.

The property was excellent, clean and very well equipped, tastefully decorated. The owners were friendly and helpful. We had a lovely holiday.

The nicest location for a holiday cottage one could wish for. We could have stayed forever.

A very clean, cosy, comfortable cottage. Everything to make our holiday most enjoyable and relaxing.

Lovely holiday, clean, comfortable cottage. We shall certainly be coming to see you again.

We would like to thank you for an excellent week's holiday spent at Snowdrop Cottage. We must compliment you on the standard and detail given to the property.

Had a fab week despite weather, lots to do from the doorstep, friendly local pub with lovely meals. Cottage is lovely with everything you  would want in it. Will highly recommend it to family and friends.

We enjoyed a very relaxing week in this cosy cottage. The local walks and scenery are absolutely superb and make this a very special place.

Lovely cottage excellent facilities fabulous week for weather, walked in the Howgills everyday but one. Terrific variety of birds, saw two red squirrels. What a lovely time of year to visit the wildflowers are amazing and the haymaking is in progress (August).

Great to be back again, weather predictably cold but we still enjoyed ourselves. Thanks once again to Jean, Mike Anne and Pete as always friendly and welcoming. PS Forgot the wonderful stars at night with no light pollution!!

We had a lovely stay at snowdrop cottage, it was always so peaceful and quiet.  We enjoyed seeing the young rabbits play in the garden and hearing an owl at night. Snowdrop Cottage and its beautiful surroundings are very special. Our daughters enjoyed their first trip to England. Rianna(11) had the time of her life when she went for a horse ride on a fell pony together with Jean and Anne. We say thank you for your great hospitality to Jean, Michael, Anne and Pete. You all made us feel very welcome!

Oh how time flies. We have been here for 14 days and tomorrow it’s time to leave this delightful cottage and it’s lovely surroundings. The weather could have been better but we love this part of the U.K. This time we took the Settle Carlisle train to Skipton and saw the views that we had been walking from another angle. The cottage has everthing you could ask for and the very narrow road to get here was something we learned to drive.
